So I live in the DC metro area and I don't have a car, so unless I borrow a friend's or family member's car, it can be difficult for me to get household items that are better to buy in bulk like toilet paper, trash bags, cleaning supplies, etc.

So, I used to have Amazon prime, but then I tried Jet.com which is another online retailer, but I have since cancelled my Amazon prime membership because I think Jet is a better deal. The problem with Amazon prime is that aside from the fact that they use lasership which has messed up my deliveries tons of times, it's costs 99$/year. Now, if I used the other prime services such as their music streaming or video I could maybe justify the cost, but since I use Spotify, have Netflix, etc, it doesn't give ma a ton of benefits. Sure, Amazon does have more products than Jet, so if you are looking for obscure or very specific items, you may not find them on jet, but Jet has all normal items that 99% of people regularly need. The reason I use jet, aside from the fact that their prices are very competitive to Amazon and sometimes cost less if you pay with a debit card, is that anytime your order is over 35$, the shipping is free. It's not hard to simply just group your purchases together so it goes above 35$. Not only that, jet has some amazing coupons like 20% off your first 3 orders when you sign up. So I wanted to ask people on r/frugal what their opinions on jet are and if they know of other great services like it?

TLDR: Amazon prime costs 99$/year and you get free two day shipping, jet has no membership fee, and free shipping on orders over 35$.
