Hi all ;)
I am constantly searching to further diversify my portfolio. I am already spread across some sectors through single stocks of high yield companies, bonds and gold. i am a long term investor and try to protect my portfolio through options. so after searching a while on finviz and playing around with the many search options i came across REITs. For example SHO and CLNS who pay a dividend of more than 10%. As a rather conservative investor this seems to be too good to be true and even after substracting the taxes i have to pay on yield from USA i think this might be a good investment. They also have a pretty high Market Cap but i didn´t look further into the numbers. Is there something i´m missing?
I appreciate any comments and suggestions.
