I don't know if this fits precisely with the sub but I first heard about Eagle Creek (which has a pretty great No Matter What warranty) here and have since bought 5 pieces with great preliminary results.

The tip is if you find their 1 season old gear on Amazon and check the 'used' buying options. I've found things 60-80% off and not actually used. Sometimes it's missing the original box (still in plastic and has tags) and I've never found any of the '10% cosmetic blemishes' that they earn about. I just ordered another 28" suitcase that's $350 MRP, $300 on Amazon and $104 'used'. It's identical to a new one.

Not every item has used options, and not all are super cheap, but I've done really well with this and I love the gear. Good luck and YMMV.
