In about five weeks I'll be joining the army (Not the US army, I don't really want to get into it too much to avoid politics, I would, but it has nothing to do with the question really) During the army, I will be able to save a good amount of money, though the salary is less than minimum wage (since the army is mandatory) however since most of the time the army will supply me with all the things I need I won't spend almost anything.
Other than the saving I'll be doing in my service, I thought to myself, hey, maybe in the time that I have left I could build some sort of simple passive income that will be worth something after saving for the 3 years I will be spending in the army.
Since I do some photography and Photoshop work the first thing that came to mind was selling my photos on sites such as Shutterstock and such, Though there are so many photos to compete with so I don't know if that'll work, but maybe it's worth a shot. Let me know what think and if you have any tips/ recommendations.
I'd also like to mention that I do have a very small amount of passive income from my YouTube channel which has some videos on it that are occasionally get viewed (they have a couple of thousand views) I probably get around a dollar or two every month so it's really nothing. (To get paid via AdSense, you need to reach 100 dollars.)
So, basically, I just want to hear if any of you have any other good ideas, mainly looking for things I can work on in the upcoming weeks. My days are pretty much free so I can give something like this my full attention!
I'm not expecting to make lots of money. It's more about working towards something in the free time I have left (since I don't have much to do, and working on stuff like this gives me the best feeling, even if I make close to nothing.) and even if I make just a little bit every month, It could turn into a nice amount after 3 years, so, that’s it pretty much.
I'd love to hear ideas, suggestions, and anything you may have to say.
TLDR; Looking for ways to make a small passive income during my military service.
