Hello everyone,

For the last few years my life was pretty decent. However in the last year or two my vision has gotten noticeably worse due to a genetic eye disease called Choroideremia. Unfortunately due to this and losing the ability to drive, I ended up losing my job. Fortunately I've saved a decent amount of money to hold me over for a small amount of time, but it will not last long. I'm not married, don't have kids, not in any debt, but I'm 32 years old and sort of freaking out because of my eye sight. I am working with my state (Colorado) and getting help with walking classes and looking to them for some guidance. However my current thought is to go back to College and get a degree. (I don't have one at the moment.) I'm in the process of applying for disability only so that I can focus on school full time (and while I have at least some eye sight left) to find a career that I can do when I'm fully blind (in about 5-7 years from now.) Any help or guidance is much appreciated. Thank you.
