I live in a 1-BR apt., which I live in like it's a studio. My BR is piled with boxes, which I'm trying to pare down. The thing is, I'm sort of happy like this. My LR has two large, south-facing windows, so I wake up to the sun shining in on me every morning, and have natural light all day when I'm working. The BR has one, small east facing window, with the morning sun blocked by large trees, so no beautiful sunlit room in the morning.
Most of the boxes are full of things I can probably do without, but I also have a lot of gardening and craft supplies. The room is large - 140 sf, so plenty of room for craft tables, bicycle storage, garden storage and floor space to boot. I really would love to set up that room as an activities room to do crafts and projects, and just get maybe a love-seat sofa bed or comfortable futon for the LR and continue to sleep out here. I don't entertain a lot, so a couple of comfy chairs and a daybed might even work.
Honestly, it would save me from having to rent a 2-BR just to have a craft room, and it would work for me. What do you guys think?
