I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but about 7 months ago, I had to leave my job as an automotive technician because of severe pain from my spinal stenosis. About 2 months before that I had maxed out my credit cards in an effort to move my family from NJ to GA. After I stopped working I had an accident where my back gave out on me, I lost feeling in my legs, fell and ended up fracturing my hand and my shoulder in the fall. I don't have insurance and have now been flooded with bills that reach close to $10,000.

I've applied for Medicare twice and have been declined both times. The IRS has started sending me letters about not having insurance and that I would be fined or penalized for not having it, but at the moment I have no income. My father is on SSI and gets barely enough to pay our rent most months. My main source of transportation has stopped working and I had to sell it for change to be able to keep the lights on. I've done the math and between my credit card bills, medical bills, rent, and light bill, I won't be able to afford it after this month. I don't know what to do and frankly I'm terrified. I haven't slept in two days and I haven't eaten in 3. I have no clue where to start to get this train back on the track. My parents look drained from worry and it's killing me to see them like that after all they've done for me.

Please any help would be greatly appreciated.
