My mother-in-law is 95, lives in an assisted living facility, and does not use internet. We are trying to get her a landline phone (the mobile phones don't work for her), but the local provider charges her for internet as well as phone service, for a cost of $60/month ($40 of which is for the internet service). Are there any alternatives , so that we can be charged for phone service without also paying for internet?
