I'm looking to get a credit card to continue building credit. I have only had an auto loan a few years ago and am thinking of purchasing a house in the not too distant future, plus I use my debit card all the time, I might as well use a credit card (pay it off in full each month) and get some good perks out of it.
My parents were suggesting a Costco credit card, which gives 4% back on gas, 2% on costco purchases and 1% on everything else
I was thinking of Amazon because I use that way more than costco and that gives 5% back on amazon purchases, 2% at restaurants, gas stations and drug stores and 1% everywhere else, but I think I'd save more on gas than I would on amazon purchases, but it also got me wondering if there are other cards I should look at with better rewards/returns?
