I have the BestBuy Citibank card. Haven’t touched it since 2021.

In November 2023 there was a fraudulent charge of $1000 on my card. I reported it to Citibank, but they denied it as fraud as the card “was in my possession and was swiped at a chip enabled card reader.”

Since then I’ve filed a police report and a report with the CFPB, but received an email today from Citibank saying they’d received the reports but were still denying my claim.

I’m not sure where to go from here. Try to obtain camera footage from Best Buy? File another report?

If anyone has gone through this or has advice I’d really appreciate your help. Thank you so much.
