My car got hit while I was at work and found a note on my car with a number. My mom called the number and the lady said she's willing to pay for it but doesn't wanna involve insurance. We're going to a car shop tomorrow to see the damage expenses. Is this a smart move? I didn't call the cops at the time because I didn't think it was necessary. Idk how to go about this
