I see so many comments/posts on Reddit saying that 40-50k is the new poverty and it’s really not that much money. And that you can find jobs in the trades/manual labor that start at that. Or other industries. But man, I can’t find the first one. I go on indeed and scroll through ALL the job listings and I see very few if any that pay anything over 45k let alone 50k. And yes that includes trades. Most start out at 15-18 an hour. Is it my area? Or are a lot of people just delusional and think it’s super easy to find a 50k a year job? I make 43k a year and I thought I was doing pretty good. (Im 23) but every time i come on here I feel like I need to be doing better. Just hard to find better
