Hello, I recently fell on hard times and am finding shopping and cooking for 1 very challenging. I used to eat out for breakfast every morning, and sometimes even ate fast food for dinner. At work I would grab whatever they were serving at the cafeteria. I am 33 and can no longer sustain this lifestyle. Currently, I have been doing two fried eggs on white toast for breakfast. Along with homemade coffee which I used to buy 2-3 times a day. Lunch is a ton of pasta, tomato sauce, frozen mixed vegetables and whatever ground meat is on sale. I don't really eat a big dinner but I will snack on yogurt, oatmeal, frozen berries, cottage cheese, etc. Cola was another big weakness for me which I have replaced with plain water. Is this a good sustainable diet? I find it fairly cheap and I feel full but I would like to swap out the big bowl of pasta for lunches every once in a while. I have a physical job so I need to bring enough to not get hungry or visit the vending machines. Thanks for reading.
