I (M22) have been living with my parents since I graduated high school. I went to community college for 2 semesters and dropped out with no real credentials. I’m currently working at a fast food restaurant for minimum wage and don’t have any friends or a network. For personal reasons I need to move out by this year. I’m moving away from my hometown hopefully to a city far away.I have a bit of money saved but only enough to last me 3-4 months (not the 6 that people usually recommend) I don’t have any transferable career skills that can quickly land me a job in a new city. Does anyone have any advice for someone in a situation like mine? Should I look for an entry level job (I know theyre hiring quickly right now) or should I try to land something better? Should I apply for jobs after finding a place to stay or before? Also does anyone have tips on how to actually find housing and jobs? Any advice would be appreciated.
