If you log in to TurboTax and navigate to last year's return and select Print Tax Return, TurboTax will ask you why you want to do this. Select "I'm exploring other tax software." TurboTax then offers you a large discount. In my case, I got Federal plus State for $39. Now, FreeTaxUSA is still cheaper ($15 for State plus $7 for Deluxe), but the discount certainly makes TurboTax more competitive, and I do like the convenience of uploading all my 1099 PDFs so I don't have to type in all the numbers.
