Hey All - So winter is around the corner, and where I live in BC, Canada we get 4 to 6 months of rain but when it gets cold, it's very cold.

My bedroom has two huge picture windows. They are probably 6 feet, 6 feet. During the winter because of the way our place faces we get a lot of wind and rain against the house and our bedroom gets very cold. It can be unbearable but baseboard heating is very expensive even with programmable thermostats.

My power bill is typically $200 - $300 per month in the winter.

What can I put against the windows to keep the cold out? I've read to use bubble wrap but what other options?
