Because they sent me a CP2000 claiming I have unreported income from work with a popular ride-share company a couple of years ago.
They are proposing changes to my 2019 tax return, claiming I did not report 20k. Here’s the thing — I have never worked at a ride-share in my life! But the notice was addressed to me, with my full social! I think my identity was stolen. What do I do?
