I'm renting a 1 bedroom in CT, my rent increased a fair amount last year when my lease was renewed and I just accepted it. I live in a complex owned by a large company, is it worth trying to talk to my leasing office next time my lease renews? I'd like to avoid another large increase in my rent, I'm a good tenant. I like my apartment so I'd rather not have to move, whats the best way to go about trying to negotiate?
