Has any frugal person here ever been with someone who spends their money impulsively? Do you think these relationships can work?
I'm with someone who is a huge impulse spender. I'm not. He's always getting mad about money, but he spends money the moment he gets it. It just flies out of his hands. He makes large purchases "because it was on sale at Costco" (laptops, grills, an expensive workout machine thing...)
He spends money like it's nothing and then he has nothing left. I have a hard time spending money (it's not that I can't afford to, I just prefer to make careful purchases) and he gets mad at me for it.
