I recently got a phone call from these scammers asking for the wrong name (just barely off) and gave them a bunch of random numbers as my SSN. And was wondering what do they do with these numbers usually?
What could theoretically happen if they got my name right but wrong number was given to them? Or if they got my name wrong but the actual SSN given to them?
