Just my son and me and we just found out he has cancer. It's treatable - thank God, but the doctor visits and PET scan are already into thousands of dollars and it's still a week before he starts chemotherapy and radiation. We're already paying Freedom Debt Relief for past medical bills and one credit card that got out of control, but we've been steady to not let that happen again. I'm retired and my income is Social Security. My son lives with me but is likely to be out of work for at least three months, so he has no income at all. There are no savings that can be used. Any advice on how to handle the coming debt will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
