Just pocketed 4.9k cash from end of lease buyout. My predicted buyout was ~17k at 36k miles but due to COVID my mileage was half of that, so when I got my car appraised last week (given condition and low mileage) came out to 22k.
Carmax said their used car inventory is down 20%, so it’s definently a sellers market and I would recommend anyone that is leasing to take advantage of it
