Frugal tip, if your library doesn't have a specific book many libraries, especially universities, are part of an international library network.
That means you can get basically any book from anywhere in the world as long as you are affiliated with a connected library. This is especially great for books on niche subjects, and even works for college texts. This is how I avoided paying for a single college text.
