I had a doctors appointment with Penn who is horrible for billing.
They billed the wrong insurance multiple times. I wrote on the bills 3x that I owe them nothing, they fail to submit to the correct insurance. Each time, they failed to submit to the correct insurance (yes, they were provided the insurance info). I paid my copay, that’s all that was required of me.
I received a collection letter today for $392 which I am NOT paying. What do I need to do to notify the collection company that a) I owe nothing. B) they fail to submit to the correct insurance company. C) I am not paying the said balance.
Edit: picked up the phone to call the billing department; obviously no results.
