Hi,

I opened a TD checking account a few months ago and transferred $2,500 to meet the minimum requirement for the bonus they were offering at the time. However, they wanted me to go into the local branch to confirm my identity but I couldn't at the time due to me living in another state during the pandemic. They ended up closing my account and I have been calling customer service and the "local branch" that was assigned to me to no avail. No one knows what happened and suggested that I call the demarketing team but they don't answer their phones and I left a couple of voice mails. How do I get my money back? It's been a frustrating process and I've spent hours trying to communicate my issue. I find it surprising that no one at TD customer service/local branch cares or knows how to help.. I've been transferred back and forth through different departments. Help, please!!
