I recently received a promotion at work. With this promotion, I'm more than doubling my income. From ~400/week to ~1000/week.
My first obvious things to do are pay off any debt I have, which is just under 5000. But after that... what do i do? How much do i save? I want to live comfortably.
I've got 2 children, a disabled father whom I care for, and a wedding to plan and pay for next year.
I have never made this much money and have no clue how to budget other than to pull change out of the couch cushions.
