Yes. I am just realizing that I have used my artificial Christmas tree almost every Christmas for 22 years. There were two years that I had real trees, but I was always disappointed that they didn’t smell fresh cut or piney and then I had to add water every day and the brown needles kept falling because I’d forget and don’t even mention the guilt of using a tree for just two weeks to put it out at the curb. No, I’m fine with my 22 year old tree. I’ve filled in here and there with some pine garland to match the tree, and I don’t have to put the lights on perfectly on each branch like I did when I was in my twenties. I just loop the lights loosely around it and it’s fine. Not to mention how much money I have saved over the years because my 8 1/2 foot tall tree was purchased on sale for $25.99 at an after-season sale. (75%off). Yeah, I’m proud that I haven’t upgraded. I have this same tree that my family has enjoyed for all these years.
