I was claimed as a dependent for 2018 but not on my 2019 return, which was submitted in April. I called the IRS and was told that I’m not getting a stimulus check because of my 2018 status as a dependent. However my parents didn’t get the $500 either due to their 2019 status. Is there any way to get the money, now or eventually?
