I've only been investing in the market my whole life. I've recently sold a company and have a bit to invest and I'm thinking if I should diversify this by investing in real estate (not REITs) in a passive way (i.e. hire property management company, etc.)
Any of you guys invested in both and like/dislike both more or less equally? Could you provide some pros and cons of each and why or why not are you invested this way? All I ever read are comments from people who are either in one camp or another, but never see anybody that are actively investing in both (50/50).
