I currently have a Mazda I love approaching it’s end as one problem pops up after the next.

I’m very hesitant to buy a new used Mazda as all the reviews of every dealership I’ve looked up have been rife with complaints of lemons or underhanded business tactics like not hanging over the registration and what not.

So my choice is between purchasing a brand new Mazda 6 for like 25k to avoid lemons and other bullshit, orrrr but a standard model 3 for 37K.

The reason I’m considering it is because I know gas is cheap now but idk how the price will change over the expected 10-15 years of life id get out of the Mazda, where as electric prices are constantly reducing making Tesla’s more attractive.

After looking at a cost comparison between tesla and a Mazda a Mazda is about 122$ cheaper per month but again that’s protracting current gas prices into the future.

Should I pay a high up front cost for a tesla and potentially save long term or just buy a Mazda for now?
