Not sure how to handle this?
The first bill came, I paid it.
The second bill came, saying I still owed them, so I called the hospital up and they said I had a zero balance and to ignore it.
Today the third bill comes, we're 3 months in now, and it still has the balance and now with a little note warning us about collections.
At this point I literally drove to the hospital, spoke with the cashier, and she confirmed I had a zero balance and sent an email to the billing company to tell them to get their act together. They're supposed to call me.. I didn't get a time frame for that, though.
What should I do? Just wait a week and call back if I haven't heard anything? I just paid off a bunch of credit cards, my credit has improved dramatically, and the last fucking thing I need is being sent to collections over nothing.
