Last Sunday I had been called by someone posing as my bank (they had spoofed my bank's phone number) informing me of fraud in my account, and I had trusted them and gave them enough information to reset my bank account's password (DoB, SSN) which led to them stealing money from me. Being on my account, they were able to get other information such as my address. I told my parents about this call once I hung up and they had me call my bank and we had ended up filing a dispute about these charges, I reported this to identitytheft.gov, and froze my credit reports at the 3 major bureaus. I then changed my security question on my bank account, and enabled 2FA.
The thieves also called me again later, and I ignored the calls.
My question is, what else can they do with my information/should I be worried about them doing more, or is it likely that these thieves just wanted easy targets for money? I am worried because I am a legal adult, but also I have not filed my own taxes before. (I am also a dependent)
