I am redoing a bathroom for the first time. After taking down the peelable first layer of wallpaper, I encountered a second layer. This second layer is 25 years old, isn't textured, and is VERY stuck to parts of the drywall. After experimenting a little bit and doing some research, I decided to paint over it. So far, I have caulked all edges of the bathroom to prevent peeling of paper, sanded down the paper, and filled any holes with spackle. I have bought a sealant/primer that I'm going to use to prime the walls, and a thick latex paint to put over it.Is there any other specific prep work I can do to ensure that it looks good? I plan on washing the walls and vacuuming all of the dust once the sanding is done via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/3b6N4AX
