I'm having trouble finding much info on the differences between Mirra 1 and Mirra 2, and what people thoughts are on how much better Mirra 2 is. I've found on Craigslist a Herman Mirra 1 Fully Loaded "Like New" for 420 USD (550 CAD), brand new seat pan and brand new arm rests.
If this was a Mirra 2 I would purchase no question, but I'm worried that any Mirra 1 is going to be really old at this point and will start running into problems, or that the reputation of Mirra being a good chair is because of Mirra 2? Lots of talk about Mirra 2 on the internet, not much on Mirra 1, is it just ancient?
Any advice would be awesome! I don't want to miss this opportunity, but don't want to buy it and be mad I didn't wait/pay a bit more for a Mirra 2. Are they all that different? I've found a document stating the differences from Herman miller, but its all very technical (I want to hear peoples actual thoughts/experiences) and of course they're going t make the Mirra 2 sound like a massive improvement.
