We found lots of water damage under an existing custom shower and started gutting it. Now that it Is fully gutted, we are looking at installing a tub/shower in it’s place. Only problem that I can’t quite see my way through is that the joists holding the tub up are already about 1” proud of the tile, before the plywood that sits under the tub is added.What would I put over the end of the plywood that will be exposed on this edge to ensure it’s both waterproof and presentable?
