Hello reddit, I want to add another door to the garage. The existing door is blocked by a car inside. There is a window which is broken. My plan is to take the window out and fit a door. The window is slightly wider than a door. I am wondering if it is possible to knock the window out and the wall below it and brick up the gap? I have seen that in order to add to a wall you need to create steps for each row up. However, as its only a small wall would it be ok to just add it on? It is double bricked. As its only a garage I'm looking for the most efficent and cheapest route. How much would I be looking at for the frame? I have a door and blocks. Is £50 reasonable ?Thanks via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2X8Qspj
