I am 44m, have 8 years left on TRS(teacher Retirement pension plan) for early retirement at about 70k per year. Currently making 100k and have 150k combined in 403b and 457. If I quit and goto private sector, how much money do I need to retire in 8 years if I'd like to have passive income of 80k and what amount of salary and saving rate will it take for me to get there?
