Recently I decided that having the same password for all of my accounts on different financial websites is probably not a great idea. My boyfriend works in data security and had been hounding me about this for ages. But...my memory is TERRIBLE, and storing those passwords on my computer/somewhere I can easily access them is fairly dangerous.

I finally found a solution though, it's called LastPass. I don't have any ties to them, and only use their free services, so I'm honestly just sharing this because they are awesome!

Basically, they keep a list of all of your websites, usernames, and passwords. You can even use their password generator to make REALLY secure passwords. Then, you have one MASTER password (as well as a 2nd step verification if you wish) for when you log into LastPass. This is the only password you need to be able to remember, but you should still make it a really good one. Once you download the Lastpass Chrome extension, anytime you visit a website stored in your "vault", it enters all of the information for you! You can even still browse with it in incognito mode, and it works on your phone (even with banking apps) too!

The way their website encodes the information they store is EXTREMELY safe (according to my SO who is pretty expert at this stuff). So, I highly recommend it to any of my PF peeps who also have like 10+ different finance sites they log into! There are also similar sites/services that do this, but I've been using this one and can vouch for it.
