A little background: I’m a 21 year old in nursing school, I live with my boyfriend (and dog), and recently just quit my job to focus on school until the end of this year.

I do have money saved up and I luckily get about $50-$75 each week from my parents to help with living expenses.

Since working in retail for a little over a year I realized I have quite the shopping problem, not to the point of ever being in debt, but Amazon, Target, and Starbucks are my addiction.

I’ve started watching minimalism videos on YouTube (no not for me, but I love watching) and think I might try a “No Buy” week starting in November (with the exception to groceries, gas, and any necessities). I know leaving my retail job will help my clothing problem, but I enjoy Starbucks a little too much!

I may allow myself one Starbucks drink so that I won’t go completely caffeine crazy and I have a major exam within the first week of November, so I might have that as my one treat for the week.

Any tips or tricks from you guys? Sorry this is more of a rant than anything, I like typing out my thoughts to keep me somewhat accountable.
