The part of town where I live has only two grocery stores, both Kroger, that are reasonably close to me (5-10 minute drive). So that is where I always shop. I would like to look into lower-cost alternative stores, but there's almost nothing along those lines around here and I think they're kind of a long drive. We have tons of Walmarts, closest one is a 20-25 minute drive; one Sam's Club in the entire city, also a 20-25 minute drive, and one Shoppers Value, a 25-30 minute drive. Do you think the savings on food at any of these stores would be substantial enough to justify the gas and time invested in a 40-60 minute round trip drive every week?
(LOL now that I see it in print I'll probably just stick to Kroger and coupons)...
