I volunteer with my local school system and help teach STEM activities. I'm having trouble finding a cost effective way of getting activity books/instructions I've created to the students. Typical activity booklets are about 30-35 pages each, color, and I'd need two dozen per activity.
My workplace doesn't mind if I use their fancy laser jet color copier every now and then, but doing it every week for an entire school year would be abusing their generosity. Plus, if I do it semi-permanent by binding it somehow, then I could re-use it next school year.
Office Depot was ~$22/each for a 30 page color wire bound book. That's way too high.....I was hoping for something in the $1/each range. I don't mind binding stuff myself, but even color copies seem kinda high. And the pictures are usually full page, so an inkjet type printer will make the pages all wavy.
Any suggestions or tips?
