Looking back at my education system, I see I was so enmeshed in chasing after marks, after the right set of tuitions, workbooks, and mock tests, that I completely failed to realise the practical benefits of my education.
Granted my education (degree) was essential in getting me a well-paying job at a corporate firm, but in the end only a minuscule amount of what I had been taught for almost 2 and a half decades, was being used to generate the income at my job. I picked up almost everything at the job itself.
And so, when I look back at my education system I ask myself: “Wasn’t there a better way to do all this?”
I made a small video on my education experience (link above). Let me know what you guys think about it.
