This may be a stupid question, but I posted a MacBook for sale on Craigslist on Wednesday, and since then I've received multiple communications from people asking me to ship it to them after receiving a Western Union / MoneyGram wire. It's been about 10 people, and nobody local has responded. Is everyone that sees my ad really trying to scam me? I know that there's a common scam where people want you to send them the item after paypal or check transfer, where they can call back the money after receiving the item, but if I get cash in hand from WU/MG, how will they scam me? Not sure if this is an appropriate post for this subreddit, I'm just very frustrated right now.
