Hi, I have a stupid question regarding Roth IRA income limit. The Roth IRA contribution limit is $6000 and Roth IRA income limit is $137000. So does this mean that if my income is above $137000 I can't contribute to Roth IRA anymore? Does this $137000 calculated before or after deductions such as 401k?
Lets say that I have $150000 salary. That makes me not able to contribute to Roth IRA. Then if I contribute $19000 to 401k, my income becomes $131000. Does this mean that I can contribute to Roth IRA? Sorry for my stupid question
