Im freaking out. I dont have enough money to last me for the month. Before i went to college abroad, my dad and I talked about this and he said he'll pay for the entirety of my education, and since that same year he sold a property for about 500k, i assumed he would be able to and he even told me not to work and focus on my studies. Well, so far, i have decent grades, have passed everything and only have 2 and a half years left. But, evidently he wont be able to give me any more money. He gambled it all. He wont admit it, but i know thats the reason.
He just sent me a whatsapp message saying he wont be able to give me money this month. Thankfully, i paid rent, but i still have about 500 euros in expenses left. And i dont even know what to do for next month. He's not obligated to give me money, i know that. But he couldve told me before and not in this way. I dont know what to do the coming month. I recently got a job that pays around 300-400 euros a month, but that money will come on the 15th of next month and so i wont be able to pay rent or food or insurance or any of my other expenses (they total up to 840euros). How can anyone gamble 500 thousand in two years. I have two siblings as well, whom im worried about. I have exams in two months but it looks like ill be failing them all, because ill have to worry about making enough to live. Please guys i need advice. I live in Germany and i have a foreign student visa, which probably means i cant get student loans.
