I saw in another post (on a parenting sub) that paying 50% of your mortgage biweekly (every pay period) rather than 100% once a month will (roughly) knock off seven years of payment on a 30 year mortgage.
Can some explain like I’m five why this is? I just made my first payment two days ago.
