TL;DR looking to make a bed that I won't need a vehicle to move stuff from place to place (so ideally no mattress)
So I'll be moving across country soon with basically nothing but a packsack and suitcase. And I'm curious about my bed. While I've been fine on the floor with a blanket for a night 0% problems, I feel full time I'll suffer.
I won't have a vehicle so I'm trying to keep furniture to an absolute minimal, so I'm trying to figure out a simple bed that I can make for myself, that if I need to move it, I don't have to worry about hauling a mattress. Some people said air mattress but I always hated how those felt, I feel like even fully inflated I sink down and are basically on the floor, but engulfed in the mattress. I've been thinking one of those foam sleeping mats for camping maybe?
