I am building a low, ground level deck and want to use thin 1x2 boards for the surface to have a more modern look. My question is, do I need to put 2 nails in each board to keep it from warping up or will one suffice since the boards are so narrow to begin with? Two nails seems like it would end up looking like a solid line of nail heads along each joist. I have seen a “no show” system where the nails attach to a plastic piece on the underside but with the number of boards I’ll need at this width, it wouldn’t fit the budget. via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2HfxLdo
