Hello everyone,I work in IT, specifically DevSecOps. This causes me to sit in a chair for long periods of time. I often work from home and would like to convert my old grand desk into a standing desk. The top is not fixed to the base, which consist of two drawer sets. The desk has a mechanical system behind the drawers that locks every drawer if the center drawer is closed. Pretty cool if you ask me. I am looking for two electric motorized columns with control I can use to lift the desk top when I want to stand and work. I have found kits such as thishttps://http://bit.ly/2W4UelY do not really need everything included with that. Basically just the expanding columns with motor and control. Does anyone have an idea on where I get get specific parts like this without paying a large amount of money? There is enough room behind the drawers to affix an expanding columns. I can provide pictures later on. Thanks to anyone that can provide any assistance or advice. via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2VqeEBr
