I am in my 30s and I currently have a stable job and income. However, after paying for my apartment, bills, student loans, I feel that I don’t have enough to put into savings. I do put some into the 401K each year. I am hoping to pay off the student loans by next year. I should be able to do it and then I will have more to put into savings. I really love my own personal space because I am an introvert. I really dislike having roommates or sharing. I have lived with horrible roommates in college in the past and I’m done with it. I love living alone but it can get pretty expensive.
I’ve been in this area for about 3-4 years and I honestly like it but I am not sure if I want to stay here long-term as I’m still really young. The job is great because I have my own office, which I really need as an introvert. We also get to travel with the company once each year. It’s a good setup so far. Should I continue renting or buying a condo/house? I love traveling and don’t want to worry about taking care of the house at all.
Thank you!
